Jeff Wu
Real Estate Broker and Motivational Speaker
Jeff is passionate about life. His professional mission is to "impact and improve the lives of people through real estate, positive power, and energy!" Besides interacting on a day-to-day basis with sellers and buyers, education is one great way to complete that mission. Jeff is a Virginia Real Estate Broker, and holds many designations, along with also being licensed to sell real estate in Maryland and Washington, DC.
He finds it important to always be learning and improving. And Jeff enjoys learning and sharing with others. He has taught in multiple states throughout the country to help fellow REALTORS® improve their lives and their businesses. Jeff has also been a speaker for CRS on multiple platforms (Sell-a-bration, Buyer Legends, and a webinar). A Lifetime Top Producer with the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS®, Jeff knows the value of education. In fact, the GRI designation was something he pursued early in his career. Even if it meant driving long distances to other associations in order to get the classes necessary to complete the designation requirements.

Sherry is an 18-year veteran of Anywhere Real Estate Inc., where she most recently served as Executive Advisor. Previously, she was the CEO of Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate (BHGRE) and ERA Real Estate, and earlier as COO for Coldwell Banker Real Estate.
Catina Jones

Catina Jones is the founder and CEO of ICON Realty Group, LLC. Sprouting from a modest five-person team in 2016, she now proudly leads a dynamic team 75 dedicated agents across two thriving locations, Richmond and Henrico. She has a 20-year tenure in the real estate industry, delivering service excellence to her agents and valued clients. Catina shares her formidable business experience as business coach, best selling Amazon Book Author (Lipstick & Legacies), and public speaker.
Jay Mitchell
Managing Broker – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Towne Realty
After working in television news for nearly 25 years, Jay Mitchell began what was to become a very successful and rewarding career in real estate. At the state level, Jay served as the 2018 President of Virginia REALTORS®. He has also served our association’s Board of Directors, Strategic Planning Committee, Public Policy Committee, and the Economic Advisory Board. For the National Association of REALTORS®, Jay has served as a Director, a Federal Political Coordinator, and as Chairman of the Consumer Communications Committee. In 2023, he will Chair NAR’s Fair Housing Policy Committee.
Liz Moore
REALTOR® and Founder – Liz Moore & Associates
A 30+ year industry veteran, Liz Moore opened her own real estate brokerage in Newport News in 2003. The company has grown considerably since then, opening an office in Williamsburg in 2005, and then adding property management in 2006, a branch in Richmond in 2016, and a branch in the Northern Neck in 2020. The company is now over 150 agents strong, and enjoys market leadership positions in all markets it serves.

Ryan Leonard
Virginia REALTORS® Staff Counsel
Ryan is a graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law and is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Washington, DC. He has a background working as an attorney in private practice, volunteering for legal organizations such as Legal Services of Northern Virginia, Legal Aid Society of San Diego, and Animal Legal Defense Fund, as well as experience in the private sector in a variety of non-legal fields. When he is not working as Staff Counsel for Virginia REALTORS®, Ryan works as an adjunct professor of political science at Brightpoint Community College.

Ryan Price
Virginia REALTORS® Chief Economist
For more than a decade, Ryan has honed his knowledge of Virginia’s housing market. Before stepping into his current role of Virginia REALTORS® Chief Economist, Ryan served as the association’s Deputy Chief Economist. Prior to joining our team, he served as the President of research consulting firm LSA Planning, as an Urban Planner for the City of Alexandria, and as part of the research team at the Center for Regional Analysis at George Mason University. Even before joining VAR full time, Ryan spent years contributing to our research, including the monthly Virginia Home Sales Report and our quarterly regional market reports. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from James Madison University and a master’s degree in urban planning from Virginia Tech.

Sejal Naik
Virginia REALTORS® Deputy Chief Economist
Prior to joining Virginia REALTORS® as the Deputy Chief Economist, Sejal worked as an Economist at the US Securities and Exchange Commission. She has also contributed to economic research and analysis at the American Bankers Association, Freddie Mac, and The Advisory Board Company. She graduated with a master’s degree in finance from the University of California San Diego and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from George Mason University.
Donny Samson
CEO – Samson Properties
Donny Samson is the CEO of Samson Properties, where he oversees all operations for both Samson Properties and its sister company, Cardinal Title Group. A lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, Donny grew up immersed in real estate—his father, Danny Samson, is the company’s founder—and quickly developed a passion for the business. After graduating from Oakton High School and George Mason University, Donny began his career in 2003 as a REALTOR®. By 2007, he had earned his broker’s license, and through hard work and dedication, became one of the top-producing agents in the region, selling more than $250 million in real estate and earning the NVAR Top Producer Lifetime Award.
