This one-hour course will provide details on the new regulations that went into effect in Virginia in 2026.
First, the course will provide real estate licensees with an overview of the regulatory changes. Next, the course will cover the specific changes made to licensure and broker supervision. This will be followed by addressing changes to escrow, advertising, and disclosures. Finally, the course will conclude with details on prohibited acts and a question-and-answer session.

Santiago brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Virginia REALTORS®. Before going to law school, he served in the Army and in various roles in the financial industry and engineering and technology industries. After graduating from American University Washington College of Law, he took his experience and worked as a solo practitioner as well as other roles with engineering firms.
