Prior to joining Virginia REALTORS® as the Deputy Chief Economist, Sejal worked as an economist at the US Securities and Exchange Commission. She has also contributed to economic research and analysis at the American Bankers Association, Freddie Mac, and The Advisory Board Company. She graduated with a master’s degree in Finance from the University of California San Diego and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from George Mason University.
Dominique Fair
As a Research Associate for Virginia REALTORS®, Dominique contributes to our monthly and quarterly housing market reports and promotes the important research her team conducts. She is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington, and began her professional career in healthcare, where she worked as a registrar for four years. Dominique then joined the team at Costar, where she honed her knowledge of commercial real estate as a Tenant Researcher before being promoted to the role of Client Relationship Consultant. She has a passion for making data accessible to and easy-to-understand for everyone. Dominique enjoys spending her downtime reading, traveling, and kickboxing. She is also an avid lover of tacos!
Abel Opoku-Adjei
Abel joins Virginia REALTORS® as a Research Associate, analyzing economic data on the housing market and breaking down that information for our members. Abel earned an associate degree in Business Administration from Monroe College of New Rochelle, New York as well as a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Information Systems from Radford University. He played soccer for both schools and proudly served Radford as treasurer for the Black Student Alliance and Community Service Chair for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
When he’s not diving into market research, Abel enjoys working out, cooking, traveling, and—of course—playing soccer! When it comes to dining, he holds a special place in his heart for any dish involving pasta.
