The Richmond Marriott is our host hotel for Amplify. This will be the main location for events taking place during our annual convention. It also happens to be a great hotel with many amenities.

La Grotta* – Italian? Yes, please! This extensive menu has numerous options of fantastic Italian cuisine. You can even opt for a four, five, six, or SEVEN course experience to bundle it all together. BONUS: It’s right across the street from the Marriott.

Rappahannock* – Fresh? You bet. Specialty cocktails, a raw bar, and craft beer just start the list of offerings from this fine restaurant.

Tarrant’s Café* – There’s a little something for everybody on this menu! From filet mignon to fish tacos and even specialty pizzas, even the pickiest of eaters will surely be happy.

Lillie Pearl – This is a great option if you’re looking for a mix of unique recipes and fun cocktails. The chef/owner creates dishes inspired by his grandmothers and his global culinary journey.

Secret Sandwich Society – This ain’t your mama’s PB&J sandwich. For a fun and exciting take on this classic fare, you must head over to Secret Sandwich Society. It’s great for lunch, a fun dinner, or happy hour.

Wong Gonzalez* – Don’t miss this fusion experience! At Wong Gonzalez, you’ll be able to enjoy an exciting combination of Asian and Latin flavors and a sip on a variety of inventive cocktails.

Mama J’s – Want a little something that’ll stick to your ribs? Then Mama J’s is the place for you. Dine on soul food that you won’t soon forget.

Buttermilk and Honey – For a more casual dining experience with the same chef and southern-inspired food as Lillie Pearl, you can experience award-winning recipes here. The variety of chicken sandwiches is extensive!

Richmond Scene

The Valentine – Seeking a deep dive on the history of Richmond? This museum is the place to go. Richmond has played a pivotal role in many historical events and The Valentine has artifacts to showcase this diverse history in an engaging fashion.

Maymont Mansion and Estate – To step away from the hustle and bustle for a few minutes, consider taking a lovely stroll through Maymont. This gorgeous park is not to be missed. Rolling hills, beautiful flowers, a stunning mansion, a petting zoo, and a bamboo maze make this a great place to visit.

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts – Take a peek at the finer side of life. From a Fabergé exhibit to a unique exhibit featuring the treasures of Ancient Egypt (yes, even a mummy!), there’s an incredible collection of art to be enjoyed.
