Real estate is about relationships. You need to know what Virginia law stipulates about your business contacts. This course will provide a detailed guide for Virginia real estate licensees on important issues dealing with agency. Topics include: brokerage relationships, agency disclosure, confidentiality, transactions, and agency in the Code of Ethics. The course will engage students in critical thinking and encourage group discussion.

You must be present for the entire course in order to receive course and/or continuing or post license education credit and your video (camera) must be, on/stay on, for the duration of the course in order to qualify for credit. There will be an exam upon completion that is made available after entering the verification code provided towards the end of the course.

CE/PL Approved: 3 Hours Real Estate Agency and 3 Hours Real Estate Related for CE; 3 Hours Virginia Agency Law for PL.

NOTE: In order to receive class credit, you will need to attend both days.

Larry Anderson

Licensed as a Virginia Real Estate Salesperson in 1976, Larry currently serves as the director of education for Fairfax Realty in Annandale, Virginia. In 1982, he obtained his broker’s license and began his career in real estate management and agent training. Larry has been active in NVAR for more than 30 years, serving on the Board of Directors and on many committees, including chair of the Commercial Forum. A real estate educator for over 25 years, Larry teaches more than 15 courses for NVAR and VAR. He has received many association awards, but two he truly values are the NVAR Code of Ethics Award and the VAR George Rink Educator of the Year Award.
