Are you happy with how you interact and respond to prospective owner clients? How do you respond, or do you freeze up when they ask questions like:
  • Why do you charge additional for maintenance?
  • I would like to be contacted before any repairs are made.
  • Is your management fee negotiable?
  • Can I be involved in selecting the tenant?
  • Why should I choose you?

In the session, Marc shares exactly how their company responds to these questions (and many others) as we talk about how to respond to the top 12 prospective owner client objections every property manager faces.

Protecting Your Owners' Investment and Your Tenants' Lives

Instructor: StopLoss - Shaun Whiteley

Each year fire departments across America respond to almost 400,000 residential structure fires each year resulting in almost 3,000 civilian deaths. The worst part of these statistics is that in most cases, these fires and deaths were preventable. Through real-life case studies and statistics, attendees will learn how, when, and why fires start to better understand how to prevent them from occurring. This presentation covers smoke detector installation and requirements, Landlord and Tenant Act review and discussion, fire prevention devices, and fire safety inspections. By learning common causes of fires, property managers can better know what to look for when performing on-site property inspections. Participants will get a chance to experience the destruction and devastation caused by fire through real-life footage of fires that occurred right here in Virginia.
